Dexmet MicroGrid®

Dexmet's Expanded MicroGrid® is available in a wide range of standard mesh sizes. With material thickness down to 25 micron (.001"), widths up to 1,200mm (48") wide, open areas that range from 30% - 95% and as many as 9,000 openings per square inch there's an expanded open area product that will fit your needs.

Common uses include lightning strike protection, battery electrodes, and EMI & RFI shielding, but our expanded metal foils are also used for many other applications.

Dexmet PolyGrid®

PolyGrid® expanded polymers are primarily used as filtration membrane support materials and separation/feed/drainage layers in pleated or spiral wound filter cartridges.

PolyGrid® is utilized in various fluid environments which range from medical devices and advanced filtration systems to chemicals and semiconductors where the fluids can be caustic.

First number represents nominal original thickness
3 = .003″ (.076 mm)

Letters are chemical symbol for material
Ni = Nickel

Number immediately following letters represents strand width
5 = .005″ (.127 mm)

Last number indicates the long way of the diamond
077 = .077″ (1.96 mm)
